WPP has been taking action to reduce its emissions since 2006. In 2021, WPP committed to reach net-zero emissions across its own operations by 2025, and across its entire supply chain by 2030. This includes emissions from media buying (more than half of its total footprint) – and an industry first. To deliver on this commitment, WPP has set science-based targets to reduce emissions from its own operations by at least 84% by 2025 and aims to halve supply chain emissions by 2030.
