    Signatories of The Climate Pledge agree to three areas of action:

    • Regular reporting

      Water image

      Measure and report greenhouse gas emissions on a regular basis.

    • Carbon elimination

      Leaves image

      Implement decarbonization strategies in line with the Paris Agreement through business change and innovations, including efficiency improvements, renewable energy, materials reductions, and other carbon emission elimination strategies.

    • Credible offsets

      Wood image

      Neutralize any remaining emissions with additional, quantifiable, real, permanent, and socially beneficial offsets to achieve net-zero annual carbon emissions by 2040.

    Global Optimism is an organization that catalyzes transformative actions. It’s led by Christiana Figueres and Tom Rivett-Carnac, who together oversaw the delivery of the Paris Agreement (the first global accord on climate change).
